Two central Indiana Halloween haunts have been ranked among the best in the country.
"Fear Fair" in Seymour and "Stillwell Manor" in Anderson were listed by the Haunted Attraction Association as tow of the 34 top haunted attractions in the United States. "Hysteria Haunted Asylum" in Fort Wayne also made the list.
The honored attractions must be members of the Haunted Attraction Association, while "satisfying a list of 10 criteria relating back to the mission of HAA," including protecting customers, promoting haunted attractions and educating experts in the industry.
Fear Fair, located at 800 A Ave. E in Seymour, is open this Thursday through Sunday, with a "lights on" kids night on Monday, October 28. It reopens on Halloween, followed by two more nights on Friday and Saturday, November 1-2.
Stillwell Manor, at 1704 E. 60th Street in Anderson, is also open Thursday, October 24, through Sunday, followed by three nights starting on Halloween.
